TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Wells Summer School – Terms and Conditions

1.
Places will be allocated by selection made from application forms, photographs and teachers’ recommendations. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.

2. Applicants will be notified of the result of their application by email.

3. Submission of an application form does not guarantee a place on the course.

4. The Organisers’ decision is final, and no correspondence can be entered into if the result of the application is unfavourable.

5. The deposit (amount specified on application form) must be paid within seven working days of acceptance, in order to secure the place. This is strictly non-refundable in all circumstances.

6. The balance of fees must be paid in full, by the date specified in the applicants’ acceptance email.

7. No invoices or reminders will be sent to attendees and, due to high demand, the Organisers cannot guarantee to keep places for students whose full payment has not been received by that date.

8. No receipts will be issued, unless specifically requested in writing.

9. Balances will be refunded ONLY in the case of illness or injury, upon presentation of a doctor’s certificate, up to 3 days before the beginning of the course.

10. No balances will be returned for any cancellations made within 72 hours of the start of the course.

11. No refunds will be made once the course has been commenced.

12. Failure to behave in an acceptable manner will result in a student being asked to leave the course, and no refund of fees will be made.

13. The Organisers reserve the right to make any necessary amendments to the course content, faculty, or venue, at their discretion, without compromising the calibre of the course.

14. In the unlikely event that a course needs to be cancelled, the Organisers will return all balances paid.

15. No responsibility can be taken for any personal possessions that are misplaced, stolen, or damaged, during the course, or if left behind on the premises after the course.

16. No responsibility can be taken for any injury incurred during, or as a result of the course.

17. Students will have the option of leaving the course venue during breaks, timetable permitting. No responsibility can be taken on the part of the Organisers, for students’ welfare at any time during the day or night, when outside the course premises, ie. the venue where the classes are held.

18. The organisers will provide a list of nearby accommodation, but are in no way responsible for the quality of the establishments and will not enter into any correspondence regarding bookings and organisation. All accommodation arrangements are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

19. The Organisers are not able to arrange any transport from stations, airports etc.

20. Personal accident/cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the attendee or parent/guardian.

21. The Organisers reserve the right, at their discretion, to place applicants in the group most suited to the student’s age and standard, and will not enter into any discussion or correspondence on this subject.

22. Photographs of students taken during the course may be used on The Wells website and publicity literature.
